This multi-family residential building in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn features a 12,000 sf rooftop terrace on the 16th floor and two 4,000 sf viewing gardens on the ground level. The Arch includes a combination of affordable and market rate residences as part of a larger mixed used development in the neighborhood that includes the transformation of an historic armory building into a community recreation and wellness center. The rooftop landscape includes custom wood banquettes and benches, a raised viewing deck with lounging platforms, a fitness area, and two outdoor kitchens – all connected by a linear wood boardwalk pathway amongst native meadow plantings. The viewing gardens on the ground floor are pictorial landscapes designed to be viewed from the various perspectives of apartment windows on either side of the building.
