This residential condominium development, located in the heart of Fort Greene’s Historic District, was designed around a central Mews. The development includes the construction of five new townhouses and the adaptive reuse of an existing townhouse and two existing historic church structures. The project includes in total 15,000 sf of open space. The majority of the units are accessed off of the 8,000 sf Mews that is 90% on structure. A formal layout of paving and planted areas structures paths and a forms a series of elegant garden spaces in which to sit, socialize, and reflect. This classic design ties together historic architecture and new buildings in a timeless landscape that is the central core of this residential development.
